J Hotel

About Me

J Hotel is an experimental band focused on combining several types of music into a common theme. Its difficult to classify the group; each song takes on a different genre, or set of genres. The band has heavy metal roots exploring other musical territory, including; Industrial, Modern Rock, Acoustic, Blues, and Techno.Their latest release, a self-titled, 14 track CD, is a prime example of their multi-faceted sound. This album takes the listener on a musical journey through several textures and moods, yet it retains integrity throughout. From crushing guitar riffs and raging vocals on songs such as the title track J Hotel, Hooked, and Anxiety, to infectious dance beats on Speak to Me and Manipulation, to delicate and melancholy themes on Hopeless and Lost, this album offers diversity with the goal of tapping into the emotions of the listener. The new album is a follow-up to their successful debut, Clandestine Dreams. After parting ways with their rhythm section, Eric Mondok and Joe Flowers combined their creative resources to accomplish an expansion of the bands sound, and a return to J Hotels studio project roots. Their efforts have certainly paid off. The result is a very solid, well-produced album with a great mix.........Order your copy of the new album at CD Baby Please visit our website www.jhotel.org -
