Chris and I are having a baby! :)
Here is one of the sonogram pictures, from April 9th. We discovered we have a healthy 12-oz baby boy already, due in August. He already has his father's facial structure.
That's his fist in the middle of the black area.
Update as of June 14: We're now 31 weeks along, and that little tyke above is over 3 times the size you see there now! We're looking forward to his arrival anytime after July 20th....
Behind this mask is an idea, and ideas are bulletproof.

Chris & I lost our 3 3/4 yr old nephew to a brain tumor. This is his story.
What's most important to me in this world is making a positive impact in the short time I'm here. God gave me a big mouth and a loud voice for a reason; I'm going to use both. Check out the So What Can I Do? blog and check out things you can do to make a difference in this world.

Oh... I get it. This section is about me. Right. I'm a very lucky 24-year-old woman, indeed. I've been very blessed with a wonderful, supportive family, fantastic friends, and a world of opportunity. Chris and I have been happily engaged since the end of May '07, and have plans to finally tie the knot in June '09. We're also expecting our first child in mid-August '08.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in music (voice) in December '06, and I'm looking to get into non-profit work or some facet of the music industry.
I am VERY liberal, including my views on: Gay marriage, education, war (we should NEVER have gotten ourselves into this mess), universal health care, abortion (pro-choice is NOT pro-abortion), religion (I don't particularly like religion, but I have so much faith) ....
You condone what you don't fight, even if you, too, believe it's not right.
People shouldn't fear their government. A government should fear its people.
My purpose on this earth is to make it a better place; I've known this since I was 12 years old. No matter what else happens in this life, I will make a difference in this world. I will make this a better place to live. We are all given our gifts for a reason.

The Da Vinci Code; A Night Without Armor; Goodnight Moon. I am currently reading Angels & Demons, Dan Brown's pre-quel to The Da Vinci Code.

Heroes:

Married couples.
Candice Fisher.
Those who go out of their way to help their fellow human being.

I admire a vast mix of people, but basically, those with guts, and those who make a difference in this world.
