About Me

2007 has been a good year: I successfully completed the fall semester and the marathon, but am still in the same job, yet there is hope (two out of three ain't bad). So it's time to relax for the next few days, then dive head first into the spring semester and training for the NJ Marathon. I hope you all are enjoying your new year and that I can finally connect with everyone I've been missing for months.

This weekend marks the end of my busy season. I've got my grades, and I surprised myself by doing well (2 A's and 1 A-). I've still got my job, although I feel I am hanging on by a string (which is pr...

I Should've Stayed in Bed

Have you ever had one of the mornings when you woke up and knew the day was just not going to be good? Yesterday was one of those days. I woke up late, leaving myself with just enough time to get...

18 Miles

I set out for my long run at 7:10 a.m. on Sunday morning. I was dressed appropriately for running, but not for the weather. The thermometer in the car registered 30 degrees when I left. I tried to pre...

16 Miles

Just wanted to record that I ran 16 miles today. It was daunting, but I got out there with my TNT teammates and got it done. It was slow going (and cold at first), but rewarding. Now, I'm just going t...

I Kicked the Philly Half's A$$

OK, not really, but I finished in a lot less time than I thought I would. It was a great race! I had a really good time getting to know some of my TNT teammates better, and I am way more excited (and ...
