South Crawley Kids is a YA thriller tinged with sci-fi. A fast-paced book, even for "reluctant readers," it was featured in Country Weekly magazine in August 2006, by Larry Holden, and won Honorable Mention in the Writer's Digest Book Awards for 2007
I am currently writing a YA novel called "Inanimate Objects". More info on that forthcoming.
This is my life's theme song and every single line in it is true in some way for me... sometimes in many ways.
Juliet by Stevie Nicks
It was way too hard, it was way too tough
on this she had not bargained
but she was like some missionary dancing to the beat
of some man's ancient drum
well she tries hard to tell her story
but it's a hard one to tell
she consults her book of miracles
cry... and the wind said "fly on"
well now you're on your own
get back out on the road again
for a million reasons
well you're back out on the road again
And you try to tie together some connections
you get some ribbons and some bows
and get back out on the road again
So you found a queen without a king
Oh yes, and everyone here loved her...no one was wrong
But you're a little bit like her
You're just a little bit like her
A little bit like her...a little bit like Juliet
Turn to the blue crystal mirror
well as always it is truthful
Oh, well you see it in the reflection
of the real blue lamp
Well tie the connection
get some ribbons and some bows
get back out on the road
But when they were good, they were really good
really good strangers
So you found a queen without a king
Oh yes, and everyone here loved her
no one was wrong
You're a little bit like her
You're just a little bit like her
A little bit like her...a little bit like Juliet
Let the crisis become a bridge
and cross that bridge tomorrow
Well let the time that goes between, baby
Well let it let go of the sorrow
She says "The sky is crying."
He says "No, the sky is blue."
He says "The sky is not crying,"
he says "The sky is blue."
She says "The sky is crying."
He says "The sky is blue..."
One of the most inspirational 30 seconds in history
"There is no political solution for our troubled evolution. Have no faith in constitution, there is no bloody revolution. We are spirits in a material world"-the Police
"How often people change, no two remain the same, why things don't always turn out as you plan, these are things that I don't understand... I can't decide all my wrong from right, all my day from night, all my dark from light...I live, but I love this life"-Coldplay
"Will those feet in modern times walk on soles made in China?"-the Verve
"This year's love had better last cause I've been waiting on my own too long. This year's love had better last 'cause whose to worry if our hearts get torn, when that hurt gets thrown, don't you notice life goes on?"-David Gray
"Nothing lasts forever, of that I'm sure. When I turn the corner, I can't believe, it's the same old movie, that's haunting me..."-RoxyMusic
