About Me

THE FUSION SHOW
The Fusion Show began back in the spring of 1984 at radio station WCSB in Cleveland, Ohio. The show started out as a format that was originally limited to literally what sat on the shelves at the radio station. As interest and the listening audience grew,so did the music collection. The playlist has now expanded to many artists music domestic and import, showcasing the talents of musicians around the world.
The Fusion Show had its first guest around 1988, and as time progressed more music interviews were scheduled. Over the years lesser known musicians with just a disk and a dream entertained listeners with their stories and music.
The list of amazing musicians is to extensive to mention and is in no way meant to slight any of the achievements of these individuals. As you read further in this web site you will be introduced to many of these people being described.
Some of the most recognizable names that have been on The Fusion Show swing from the heavy side of instrumental rock music like Satriani and Vai all the way to a more traditional jazz setting, like Larry Coryell and Tom Scott.
Guests in the past have included the vocal dabbling of Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush and the Average White Band to new age artists Tangerine Dream and Craig Chaquico formally of The Starship.
Some other names might strike a common chord like Steve Morse from the Dixie Dregs, and Deep Purple, Terry Bozzio and Frank Zappa,
as well as Michael Schenker, Dennis Chambers and Steve Lukather of Toto have graced Cleveland the Airwaves.
