First of all - I am a great fan of good music. By "fan" I mean addicted record collector, music journalist (I've been working for MTV Poland for the last 3 years), events promoter or participant (I am a polish promoter of the great Hip Hop Kemp and Urban Rapublic festivals), buyer of magazines, supporter of the artists and most important: one sharing his passion with others.
My biggest accomplishment on the field of music journalism is the book "Beats, Rhymes & Life. The Lexicon of hip-hop music": the first encyclopedia about hip-hop music in Central and Eastern Europe. More than 600 pages, circa 1 000 entries ( view list ), rap from all over the world, many additional texts (labels, history, dictionary, classic albums)...
An official website of the Book is www.leksykon.miszczak.pl ; you will find a basic fact sheet in English here .
I am the chief editor and main author of the book, the rest was written mainly by my friend Calak .
The Encyclopedia has received a critical acclaim in Poland (where it was published), it has been awarded "A book of the month" by National Polish Television. I have heard soooo many voices telling me "Man, you gotta publish it in English", that I started considering this option very seriously...:)
My resume with some activities I have handled recently is to be found @ www.miszczak.pl/resume.htm
