About Me

Myspace Backgrounds
Just got back from virtual death... it's alright : I feel no pain at all ! And I just discovered that Myspace operates as the servants in "Hotel California" : YOU CAN CHECK OUT ANY TIME YOU LIKE, BUT YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE !Well, I admit that's a bit esoteric but some of my "old" friends here on Myspace should know what I mean... What can I say about me ? Well, I'm currently a lawyer in Paris but I don't like it at all so I'm moving in a new direction which is : creating my own IT company ! And anywhere but in France...that is I can't stand my own country anymore, so my dream destinations would be Hamburg, Berlin, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Australia (due to the massive presence of Great Whites there), Hong Kong, Montreal... Right now I'm doing business plans non stop and would go haywire without Myspace (the deal is : 10 minutes loss and profit accounts, one minute browsing etc.). Alright, so I'm a workaholic, but there's another side of me, like a M. Hyde who would be a metal guitar player...and also I love predators since I was a little babyboy, like tigers and wolves for instance, or sharks... and the sound of Goethe's Sprache (are german girls predators ????)... I simply can't resist it. Alright, to hell and back again 0^0.

My Interests

Guitar playing (metal and funk ; some of my heroes : Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert, Jimi Hendrix, Dimebag Darrell, Tommy Bolin...or Nick Drake !), travels, sports, especially shark diving, martial arts, german culture und Sprache...

I'd like to meet:

Evil, Satanic, and Horror picturesY.O.U. That is : anyone who is nice, well educated and musically open-minded. Oups, that's a bit too restrictive, so let's broaden the scope and say : anyone who believes they're absolutely cool ;-)

Music:

Anything from Nick Drake to John Scofield through the great Erykah Badu or Ani di Franco, but especially metal (Fear factory, Meshuggah, Arch enemy, Pantera, RATM, Unsane, Eyehategod, Stampin' ground, Crisis, Slipknot, Lamb of god, Rwake, Skinlab, Threat Signal, Betzefer, Poison the Well, Queenadreena...a lot of "mathcore" and mad females driven bands)... I fancy trip hop as well (above all : Fatboy slim, Dirty Vegas, Morcheeba), and west coast house. And some stoner stuff : Electric Wizard, Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Honcho, Fu Manchu... Ach, und natürlich Rammstein ! Und Krautrock (Amon Düül II, CAN, Popol Vuh etc.). Und auch Nina Hagen Band (1978 RIP ;-)

Movies:

Evil, Satanic, and Horror picturesRight now, I'm really into 70's japanese B-movies, like the "Baby Cart" series, "Street fighter" and "Hanzo the razor"... I really dig some german movies like "Absolute Giganten", "Die bitteren Tränen der Petra Von Kant" (Fassbinder's Meisterwerk) or the "The stratosphere girl". Also most of Kubrick's (above all : "Full metal Jacket", "Eyes wide shut" and "A clockwork orange") and Paul Verhoeven's stuff ("Starship troopers", "Total recall", "Hollow man", that kind)... and not to forget "Lost in translation" (Sofia Coppola rules !). And, oh yes, being a shark addict, stuff like "Open water" (this one's really cool), "Deep blue sea" or "Jaws" (the book, more than the movie, actually). Plus, in no particular order : All Bruce lee's movies (especially "Big Boss" and "Enter the dragon"), "Kill Bill 1", "Reservoir dogs", "THX 1138" (Georges Lucas' first movie), "Deliverance", "Aliens" (James Cameron's amazing contribution to the series), "Long week end", "The ring", "The exorcist", "To live and die in LA", "Body snatchers", "Lucy" (a great new 2006 german movie), "The getaway" (Mac Queen at his best), "Wrong turn", "Wolf creek"... and speaking of wolves : Neil Jordan's "Company of wolves".

Television:

Soccer world cup ! You mean series ?!?! "X Files", "Thunderbirds", "Nip/Tuck", "The prisoner", "The new avengers", "Space 1999", "UFO", "Sex and the city", "The outer limits", Sesame Street, of course... rather old stuff, really, and also "Verliebt in Berlin" und "Berlin, Berlin" ! Oh, and I just discovered the 2004 version of "Battlestar Galactica" which I find excellent...

Books:

Mainly philosophy...Heidegger, Rousseau, Michel Foucault, Platon...plus Sade's infamous writings and Fassbinder 's Theaterstücke ! Don't read that much nowadays...

Heroes:

Lady Penelope, Bert, Jimi Hendrix, Dimebag Darrell, Bob Marley, Nick Drake, Che Guevara, Franka Potente, Karyn Crisis, Zack de la Rocha, Bruce Lee, Courtney Love...
