About Me

The Noise:Originally from New York, J*s*n P. Fr**m*n has resided in Chicago since 1998. An award-winning, community-oriented lifestyle and entertainment reporter for regional and national publications, Fr**m*n has served as the editor of a national LGBT arts, entertainment and culture quarterly magazine. Currently, he's the editor at large for the largest regional LGBT resource Web site in North America as well as a regular columnist for Gay Chicago Magazine. Bylines for Fr**m*n have also appeared in Genre Magazine, The Windy City Times, Boi Magazine, PINK Magazine and on ChicagoPride.com. Creative works have also appeared in a handful of zines, anthologies, newsletters and Web sites. A member of the National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association, Fr**m*n is professionally affiliated with a number of regional nonprofit organizations committed to the arts and social change. A debut novel is in the works. www.jasonpfreeman.com The Funk: J*s*n P. Fr**m*n wants the cool kids to like him, but he doesn't want to like them back--but most times, he does anyway. It's a viscious, cruel and ongoing internal conflict for him. Yet Fr**m*n remains headstrong, rocking it hardcore because, really, what else can he do? Fr**m*n may be too old to model but he's too young to die.

Nicotine Withdrawal

Life is Like Cigarette Smoking

Physically taxing, costly and rather disgusting, I wish it were in me to give it up. But it's not. In fact, I rather enjoy it. I may wake up sick, phlegm-cogged and without an ounce of energy in me ...
