My name is Roxanne Morgan; I’m 26 and a Southern California resident. I am in school obtaining my bachelor’s degree in interior design and I graduate late 2008. I am so excited to start my career, but I consider jewelry design as a secondary career as well. I just got married to my amazing husband this past summer in Newport Beach, CA. It was a beautiful event! We are planning ..ing a family in a few years. He is my biggest support and fan. He even makes my awesome jewelry stands from metal and plexi-glass for the craft events that I do, which in fact, he is starting to sell to retail boutiques.
I have been designing jewelry from the age of 16. I can’t believe it has been 10 years! I used to sell my jewelry on consignment when I was in high school to pay for car insurance and just to have extra money. Back then my style was very amateur and simple. Since then I have really followed the trends in fashion and I stay on top of those trends months in advance. I also love creating classic, timeless pieces that will not go out with the season. Every piece I design is also based on my mood at the time. Most of everything I create is one of a kind as well, unless it happens to be a huge seller. The reason behind this is that I cannot sit and make the same exact piece over and over, maybe if I had a factory somewhere but I don’t, it’s only me! Recently, I have been asked to make bridesmaid jewelry (matching necklace, bracelet, and earrings). I really enjoyed this because I was able to match beads to fabric, and have the freedom to really create these beautiful bridal accessories. If you happen to need these services please email me, we can have an in-person or phone consultation, and if you are out of state but the dresses are at a national chain like David’s Bridal, I will go to the store to match beads that I purchase.
Currently, I am actively attending and participating in events to either sell jewelry or promote my business. I have been seeking boutiques in the Southern California areas to either sell wholesale or consignment as well. I will travel from the areas of Palm Springs, Los Angeles and down to San Diego. Anywhere outside of that circle would be wholesale only (out of state stores for example). If you are a returning visitor of my website, I’m sure you noticed the complete over-haul. I decided to change my website url, business name, background, and I re-photographed all of my jewelry over again in a different style. I was in need of a drastic change, a fresh start actually. Also if you happen to run across a spelling or grammatical error, please do not hesitate to email me a quick note, I am only human and not the best speller I might ad, but I definitely have a sense of business and professionalism that I take very serious.
I am a BIG dreamer with BIG goals in life. I never wanted an ordinary lifestyle, I want it all! I am so excited to see what this year has in store for me. I have been truly blessed with the knowledge that only I can shape my future and sitting around on the sofa complaining and wishing things were different will change absolutely nothing! I have my #1 fan by my side, and we are going to do great things! My ultimate goal for my jewelry is to have my designs sold in major department stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s. So if you happen know the buyers at any of those stores (or similar)… just let me know (in a perfect world haha). As for now, I am constantly adding new designs to my collection so check back often!..
