I'm channeling my inner-Suzie Homemaker these days. Ever since I got married I'm cooking, baking, slicing, and dicing. They say they way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
I love everything from A-HA to ZZ Top, with the exception of the lyrics to opera. I love the actual music, but please don't bring out the fat lady to sing.
I say my favorite movie is "Jerry Maguire" because my friend Alex used to quote it all the time, and it's a pretty good movie. "Show me the money!" Who doesn't love that part? However, I could probably quote every line from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." Don't ask me why that movie has always stuck with me -- it just has. Comedies and horror flicks are great, as are the occasional chick-flicks. I don't like movies with water, dirt, military references, or historical significance. Ask any of my friends. (Although, I must watch "A Few Good Men" every time it comes on TBS or TNT -- and I own the friggin' movie.)
Grey's Anatomy is definitely my favorite addiction. I love the Real World/Road Rules challenges. I find myself getting sucked into shows like Laguna Beach, The Hills, and My Super Sweet 16. And Best Week Ever is THE BEST SHOW EVER! I love celebrity news shows and all the I Love the 80's, 90's, etc. 90210 and Friends share a place as my top two all time favorite shows. When Ross slept with the copy girl after he and Rachel were "on a break"...ugh. One of my favorite episodes.
I have read just about every Mary Higgins Clark and Patricia Cornwell book there is. I also own all the Stephen King books prior to 1998, though I've only read about six of them. I definitely don't read as many books as I'd like because I spend most of my time trying to read the elven magazine subscriptions I have. Yes, it's exhausting.
My hero is Carol Barnhart. I want to be like her when I grow up. If I have to grow up, that is.
