To be honest, I mostly just want to hang out with my wife. She's pretty much my world. Without her I would not now what to do with myself. We read Robert Jordan's 'Wheel of Time' series out loud together. Technology has always interested me as well. Blend that with a overactive imagination and an affinity for fiction, and you find me at home in books or games (particularly "World of Warcraft" which Andi also plays with me! Im so lucky). If I'm feeling particularly frisky, I enjoy hiking and a good romp with my pups. I got a boxer (Reese) and a Boston Terrier (Shelby) who is also refered to simply as 'demon', and a cat called 'Cat' who thinks he is a dog. Music is something I enjoy, but am completely horrible at. And I'm always up for a good debate!
I would like to meet some of my favorite authors/comic book creators/movie makers and spin a few tails with them and see if they think my imagination is up to snuff. I would also like to meet a body of believers not given wholly over to the pursuit of social status and the improvment of their image. To find that would be simply amazing.

I like pretty much anything except country, but for the most part I listen to music in the car and want something alittle harder. On top of the pile: Flyleaf, Coheed & Cambria, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Creed, Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Mathews Band, Incubus, Black Eyed Peas, Cross Movement, Lily Allen, KT Tunstall, Puddle of Mudd, Mudvayne, Greenday, Breaking Benjamin, etc.
A good story goes a long way for me. I try to watch movies not merely for entertainment alone, but also to gleen any kind of message they might be portraying. I believe movies are the 'Shakespeare' of today. By that, I mean that they will be looked to as the artistic medium that gives comentary on the culture around them, as well as shaping that cultrue. A couple movies that really resonate with me are The Boondock Saints and The Last Samurai. LOTRs, Narnia, Potter, Die Hard, Leathal Weapon, Spiderman, Transformers, Butterfly Effect, Pirates of the Carribean, Fight Club, Arthur, Sin City, 300, Braveheart, Accepted, Waiting, Constantine, Saved, Spirited Away, Hero, Predator, Turner and Hooch, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Vanilla Sky, Wedding Crashers, Monty Python, Van Helsing...I enjoyed them all.
Heroes, Scrubs, The Office, Supernatural, Family Guy, South Park. I hate the news, I hate most sitcoms, and TV generally is mind numbing. I only watch a limited amount of T.V. as most of it is dribble. Which, in the context of the way I view movies...is a sad commentary on our society as a whole.
I love theology, so naturally Bible and biblical stuff is a plus. Im also big into fiction like Robert Jordan's series 'The Wheel of Time' or Tolkein. C.S. Lewis, Randy Alcorn, John Piper, A.W. Tozer, Wayne Grudem, Jay Adams, among others. Im not bored with textbook-ish types of stuff but I'm more than likely going to be in fantasy. Real life is sometimes boring.
Apart from Biblical heros: My Dad has probably been one of the most influential people in my life. Without him I would definitly not be where I am today (for one thing I wouldn't have a job!). I really appreciate a couple teachers at PBU, namely John Oliff and Eddy Fields. I really respect the way they live their life, run their household, and their conviction over scripture.
