These two young men, Andre (aka Dre Luv) and Phillip (aka DJ Influence aka Da Urban Monk), had a common interest in music that led them to a partnership with a common vision. This vision was to bring True Hip Hop back to the world “Truth†and this vision formed in to what is now known as SoundWave Productions. There goal is to inundate the radio airways with more then just one side of Hip Hop, R&B or Rap with a Christian twist to give the people more verity with no bias toward any genre. To enlighten and influence minds not just to get people dancing! When they first started off they were armed with only just a computer application, so these young men had to utilize their artistic abilities to generate music that would compete with professional soundsThis artistic ability derives from two individuals having roots in different genres. Phillip (DJ Influence) provided a strong background in Hip-Hop, Blues, Funk, Oldies, Rock N’ Roll, and many other genres, via spending part of his childhood in his hometown of Queens, NY. Andre (Dre Luv) balanced this partnership with an amateur knowledge in R&B, Classical, and Gospel composition that was elicited as a result of being a member of a concert chorale that once featured up and coming R&B singer MarioEquipped with a Strong will to succeed in this business and starting off with virtually no capital, these young men start there journey to infiltrate the music industry shortly after high school, fuelled only by self-motivation and personal desire. Since their inauguration into finding and creating real music, these individuals have been on a crash course for success by constantly making music day in and day out.
