Someone who is truly original, Henry Rollins, Ghandi, Dolly Parton... Oh and ME in 40 years...... Who am I kidding?!? I hate everyone.
I love music... All kinds. I was classically trained as an opera and jazz singer, grew up with a hip hop M.C. for a brother, and now love anything electronic. I hope to soon start making a fresh new sound with a person whos ear for music is so amazing it blows my mind(She's gonna be BIG, but she doesnt know it yet). What's in my minidisc right now? Well its a plethera of genres.. Theres some Tech house, some minimal(thank you Suz and Darren), Breaks(thank you Dan), DnB,Speed Garage, Electro, dance hall,80's,showtunes (yes, showtunes...shut up), punk, rock, some country (yes, I know. Its a guilty pleasure... Johnny Cash is a genius), opera, classical, REAL jazz (examples-Ella Fitgerald, Etta James,Louis Armstrong... anything with gut wrenching soul to it), 70's soul (oh Al Green, how I love you), and a bunch of other stuff... what can I say? Im eclectic.
Hmmm this kinda varies too.... I guess it all depends on my mood
Living in the past.... Love my re-runs. TV isnt my biggest priority, Id rather be outside.
Anything that can keep my attention past the 1st chapter... Ooh and anything that challenges and/or confirms my views.A few favorties include--The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, Chicken Soup for the Soul (Im a sucker for that crap), anything by Bruce Lee (the guy was incredibly zen and spiritual),Shakespeare and classic poetry like that.Currently reading--- The Hiram Key by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas
Anyone who is doing what they love and getting paid for it. (hopefully me someday)
