First and foremost, I'm a Mother. My boys are Garrett, age 10 and Damian, age 5. It is definately the hardest, most frustrating, painstaking job I've ever undertaken, but it is also the best, most intense, wonderful, crazy-happiest thing I've ever done. I'm lucky enough to have two happy, healthy, intelligent, good-looking kids and I'm determined to do whatever it takes to give them a Mom they can be proud of. I am not a perfect person, but I try really hard to be and I get upset when I'm forced to realize that somethings are beyond my control. I put my all into everything I do; I figure why bother doing anything at all if you're only going to make a half-assed effort at it? I believe in others until they give me a reason not to. I place alot of value on giving my word and I wish others felt the same. When I say that I'm your friend, I mean what I say and I will bend over backwards to help you out...until I get screwed over and then you will cease to exist in my universe...not even enough of an entity to bother insulting. I feel that manners and etiquette are extremely important in life; that a person can have nothing but the clothes on his back and as long as they have good manners they have a better chance than most. Negativity is like a communicable cancer; expose yourself to negative people often enough and you'll catch it too; once you've got it, it'll eat away your at life if you don't treat it in time. I think "forever" is a myth...lets work on "right now" cuz if we can do that right then "forever" should take care of itself.
