Reverie is a metal band from Madison, NJ. Dan Muniz plays guitar, bass, and does the vocals. Philip Hinge does the drums and percussive stuff (in addition to all the album artwork). Dan and Phil have been jamming together in Phil's basement since high school, when Dan was only playing bass. The results weren't very good at first, as both band members were still trying to find their way around their respective instruments. But eventually, through each band member's hard work and determination, things started improving, and the band came to terms with the fact that bass and drums alone couldn't cut it - If they were going to play the music they both loved - Metal - then they would eventually need a guitarist.
After the 4-year search for a guitar player proved futile, Dan stepped up and made the switch from bass to guitar. Since then the band has been cranking out melodic Metal songs that are heavy in both a musical and emotional sense.
