The BTJs were featured on the For The People album with their jumpoff single Go For Yours. The song set the tone for the groups emergence into the industry with its focus on lyrical delivery and breath control. The follow up single from the BTJs was Playin' 4 Keaps on the Duck Down Presents album. It defined the BTJs as a separate force from the Clik.Due to financial problems Duck Down Records was never able to offer the BTJs a deal. At the same time, Young Coke the Great was sentenced to 4.5 years. During his encarceration he was transported to 5 different prisons (Elmira, Five Point, Wende, Sing Sing, and Greene).Coke is back, time has been served, stripes have been earned and the album is in progress. Coke has started his own independent company Money ta Burn and is working with fam Steele from Smif n Wessun of a BTU and Boot Camp Clik project.
