About Me

Pyzam.com has the coolest Layouts for Myspace
I have been married to Keith for 12 years. We have two boys, a dog, a cat and a gecko. I was a preschool teacher for many years but have recently stopped working. I now am finding time to do things that I love like yoga, walking my dog Daisy, cooking, reading by the pool while my boys play, crocheting and sewing, riding my bike with the boys around town, and spending time at the beach with my family. We are also a big movie family and enjoy closing the house up on a Sunday afternoon and watching a film or two with lots of snacks.

I'd like to meet:

Old friends & new interesting people that I might have something in common with

Music:

I love to listen to music as I cook in my kitchen, so it really matters what I'm cooking at the time, the season, the meal. I love to sing along and spin around. I have always loved Live & Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also have a thing for girls. I love Dixie Chicks, Gwen, Pink, Evanescence, Alicia Keyes. Like I said, It is pretty random. Depends on the weather, the time of day.

Movies:

MyHotComments There are really so many. My all time favorite would have to be The Story of Us, love it. But I also love Grease, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Sweet Home Alabama, Drop Dead Fred, Just Like Heaven, Mostly Chick Flicks. I do like Gone in 60 Seconds, all the Star Wars, The Italian Job, Ocean's 11, The Ice Harvest, those kind too. I just don't like scary movies, can't handle them

Television:

Love Sopranos, never miss it. Also watch Project Runway, alot of DIY and Discovery Home channel, that kinda stuff. Also like House and Scrubs. Oh, and I also watch The Dog Whisperer alot, the Ceasar Milan show. He's really amazing, he has helped me soo much with Daisy, it's incedible. Other than that my husband & boys have full control over the remote!

Books:

Right now I'm reading a great book called Sweetest Taboo by Carole Matthews. She's really great for us 30 something girls that like a good light-hearted read. Check out her MySpace page, she's on my friends list. I just ininshed up The Bridges of Madison County. I also picked up two books from the 30's that I'm anxious to read next. I also have a crocheting book that I use alot called The Happy Hooker

Heroes:

I would first say my husband because he has been through so much, even as an adult, and somehow he turned out to be a really great guy. And through all the crap he remains steadfast, with no excuses. Next, I would have to say my mom in a way because she raised me & my sibs. It couldn't have been easy. But I really just think that people who live this life truly without using excuses to sqeak by earn my respect the most. They may not be my heros, but I respect them more then others.

3rd St. Promenade

Keith & I went to 3rd St. Promenade this week, we hadn't been in about 11 years.  We use to go walk around and look at all of the small shops and unique craftsmen that filled the walk.  ...
