Dynasty Metal Music is located in the state of California, USA and we are here to provide you with CD's and DVD's of hard rock, power metal and progressive metal. You may even find titles of some other styles of music in the metal genre. We will strictly carry only metal titles and specialize in limited editions and rare items. A majority of the titles we carry are imports and we will also have some US and independent releases. We highly recommend purchasing the limited editions because they won't last long. Most limited editions will be available when they first come out and most likely we won't be able to get them again. As for the rare items which you will find in the "Rare Items" section, most of those items are out of print and may be limited to only a single copy.Let me give you a little history about myself. I started listening to rock and heavy metal back in 1981 with Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell and Kiss - Unmasked being my very first two purchases. I've been hooked since then and have never stopped listening to metal. I had always wanted to work in a CD store and finally in 1995 I got a part time job working in one. I always enjoyed talking to customers that were into heavy metal and always wanted to put as much information in my brain about it that I could. As we all know the heavy metal scene in the 90's was much different but in 1997 I found the courage to take the chance and open up my own CD store here in northern California that specialized in hard rock and heavy metal. It was a great pleasure introducing so many people to so much great hard rock, power and progressive metal that they had no idea was even out there.
