I guess its time for an update, although not much has really changed. We're still loving Dallas and SO happy that we made the change. We've been making it out to some new bars and restaurants lately. We've also been using the company's seats at Ranger stadium to take part in their some-what decent season. We've been to a few Starz games as well as a Dallas Cowboy game up in the suite-- can't beat that! We miss the Hill Country but managed to make it down for a river trip on the Comal and Guadalupe this summer, so we're satisfied with that. Plus, we decided to re-new our hunting lease, so we'll have plenty of time there during deer season on some of its most beautiful land.
My job is going great! I still love working with everyone here, although my favorite co-worker left to go back to school so I'm kinda bummed about that. I've just recently taken on more duties and can now add Global Sales Coordinator to my title. I'm enjoying it so far and am very lucky that I have not just one, but two of the nicest bosses.Cap and I are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our brand new nephew, Andrew Reagan Huffman! He was born August 1st and weighed 7 lbs. and 15 oz. He is absolutely precious. It was so amazing being there when he arrived. I just laughed because he came out like a pro. He was so calm-- as if he'd been delivered a time or two. I've come to the conclusion that he's an old soul. The summer was great; we had some really good times with friends. We've definitely put some mileage on Danny and Kristen's pool and the lake front of Lewisville! We made it down to South Padre for the Fourth of July and experienced one of the absolute worst vacations EVER! It rained the entire time we were there! And I guess we had forgotten how trashy the island is...the best thing to happen to it was that hurricane that came through shortly after we left. Everything looked like it needed a good scrub down!During the fall we've been busy keeping up with Texas Tech's unbelievable season. We went to Lubbock for the Nebraska game as well as the UT game, which we won. Wreck 'em! However, the dream was pretty much shattered when OU kicked our as 65-21. Soo, better luck next year. I'm still not ready for college football to be over with!Well, I guess that's enough of my babble for now. Until next time!
