Jesus loves me, this I know. For the Bible tells me so.
Despite my pain, despite my doubt, despite my addictions, despite my failures, despite my hate, despite my oblivion; He's never left me nor forsaken me.
His Love is a revolution.
Of peace and joy.
Of acceptance.
Of freedom.

"The Beauty of Turning"
Jesus Followers know that the truest diagnosis of reality is fallen. But they also know that's not the last word. Jesus Followers assume reality, but they believe in and celebrate the good news that brokenness doesn't have to reign!
There is a place where pains and wounds don't have to be politely covered up-- they are healed. There is a place where mistakes don't have to be justified or ignored-- they are forgiven. There is a place where value doesn't have to be fought for or purchased-- it is given by a loving Father. There is a place where death doesn't have to be feared-- it is merely a threshold.
Repentance is beautiful because it assumes brokenness and longing and fumbling, and (because of Jesus), it ends in healing and satisfaction and direction. Broken lives are transformed by the repentance Jesus offered.
Repentance is an alternative to pretending.
It is truly freedom.

And just as repentance assumes people are facing the wrong way, so salvation assumes people need to be saved. It's simply logical. And very uncomfortable. For Jesus's three small words were "You need me."

(Jesus with Dirty Feet, pg 68-72,110)

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He a gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Galatians 5:13-15 "It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows. For everything we know about God's Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That's an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out—in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?"
(The Message)

Please Note:
I won't have sex with you. Please don't message me if that's all you want; I don't plan on changing my morals any time soon. Also, please send a message with a friend request so I know who you are. Kthnx. <3
