About Me

Yes I am a hockey fanatic. September through June is my favorite time of year. That's when all the hockey goodness is flowing. Outside of hockey, I am an avid reader, viewer of television (or Tivo-vision), movie goer, music listener and closet karaoke crooner, and writer. I do technical writing at work and I am currently starting to work on a storyline that I may be able to turn into a novel.

Music:

I have a mix of music I like, from movie soundtracks to hard rock. Some favorite bands are: Yes, Metallica, Hoobastank, Evanesence, Nightwish, Midnight Oil.

Movies:

I am an action movie fanatic. Some of my favorites are: Aliens, The Matrix, Lord of The Rings, V for Vendetta, etc.

Television:

I have a mix of shows I enjoy. NCIS, 24, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Smallville, Prison Break, JAG, Star Trek, Firefly.

Books:

My taste in books depends on my mood. Mostly I read science fiction and fatasy, with a few biographies and documentary style books mixed in.

Heroes:

Lance Armstrong is probably the biggest inspiration for me. Facing everything he did and winning the Tour de France 7 times is an absolutely amazing feat.
