"Hockey players are the easiest and best to deal with. It's universal. Part of this is the simple rural Canadian and American roots of many of the players over the decades, part of it is the stringent concept that team comes first, and part of it is the general lack of 'bling bling' and the positive work ethic that comes from both. It's not cool or generally accepted to be a selfish, loud, extroverted jackass in hockey, as is often accepted and even promoted in baseball, football, or hoops. Does this keep a certain element of the North American mainstream disinterested in the game, or prevent an element of promotion? Maybe, but that's just fine." I like listening to music and watching movies and playin video games esp. rock band (now I just need people 2 play with). Also, I cherish my close friends and family. I am a Christian and try to live by those morals and values.Currently, I work about 30 hrs/week at AAA in the member service center and I ref the Missouri Jr High and High school inline hockey leagues. I'm currently in a Scouting Advisory Program as an apprentice hockey scout with ISS (International Scouting Services), the largest hockey scouting company in the world. I dream of being a scout for an NHL organization.All in all, I am a person who appreciates originality and uniqueness. I dislike small talk and empty conversations. I would rather talk to someone about something that they are passionate about (even if i'm not interested in it or disagree with the ideals) and not just the weather or whatever the new trendy thing in society is. Basically, that is because they are speaking with emotion and feeling making their words represent who they are as a person. None the less, my personality and "passions" seem to not be a very common feeling, at least here in St. Louie. Even though that sucks at times, I am thankful to be who I am.
