I have been doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu( BJJ) since I was 16 when I was a brown belt in judo.Nowdays I'm a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and owner of a succesful academy in Oakland. That's what I do for living and I love that...My dream in my life was one day be able to do what I love to do and somehow make money with it...My job includes trips all over the world teaching brazilian jiu-jitsu or visiting BJJ schools and share my aknowledge to anyone that apreciates ground fighting!After over 15 years studying martial arts,teaching in Brazil for several years as a purple belt and coming here to United States and be able to achieve the status as a black belt is something very important to me...Specially be able to open a school and teach the American people how to kick ass...Jiu-Jtsu is the most EFFECTIVE martial art in the world...Besides Jiu-Jitsu I love to dance,play soccer and party with my friends and students!For a lot of people jiu-jitsu is just a sport or a cool martial art,for me is a lifestlye(lifetime)way to be.The reason why I'm a such a good dancer is becouse of the flexibility of my hips...My dad once told me: Son if you be able to move your hips like Bruce Lee you will be the real single deal in the dance floor...lol!So I decided to listen to my dad and follow his instructions...That's why I study 5 hours daily brazilian jiu-jitsu!lolIf you know how to play chess you will understand better how to play jiu-jitsu...and will be able to do a much better transitions on the dance floor too:)Whatever you do be the best one and whatever decision you make in your life make sure that you are happy with what you got...No regrets! Be happy with what you do for living...it's pretty bad people live their whole life working in a crappy job!If you don't like what you do don't do it!Is that simple is better for your soul at the end,trust me!Ahh don't forget to take good care of your body,it's like your body is a house and you need to pay the mortgage your whole life by eating right and exercising daily...That's right...Everyday you should take good care of your body!
