I am 33 now and it hurts! lol I don't feel that old, I guess because I don't act it.Married to my high school sweetheart Angela, we have been together for 16 yrs and counting. We now have 3 kids, 2 girls and 1 boy.I like to think I am not your average boring 30 somthing family man. But I am afraid it might have happend.After high school I moved to Mayer AZ. Then joined the Marine Corps in 1995. After that I become a jack of all trades and seeing that I was going nowhere fast, I went back to school to get my degree in music in hopes of becoming music teacher (guitar mainly). Although I was getting straight A's, school still sucks at any age (lol). Long story short, I moved back to ILLINOIS, I got a good job offer, so I now work for the City water department fixing busted water mains & reading water meters. Boring? yes alittle, but it keeps me in good shape because I walk about 3-7 miles a day and see and meet alot of people, the good, the bad and the ugly. lolI use to play lead guitar in a hard rock/heavy metal band (covers mainly) a few years ago. Now out of that seen I work with kids and teens at the church I attend. Yeap, that's right, I went from a wild partying heavy metal guitarist playing stuff like White Zombie, Ozzy, Metallica, Alice in Chains, to a clean cut Bible thumper teaching and preaching to teens and little kids. It's the most rewarding thing I have ever done. My worse day now, is better than my best day then. However, I would say I do miss jamming with the guys every now and then.
Dr. Ron Reynolds pastor of Mt.Vernon Baptist Temple recently licensed me to preach. So I am now preaching some during are after noon service. However, i am looking to preach at other churches.
