Poker! Chess! Pool!
I don't think I've met enough people to know what I'm looking for. Although I do know that when it comes down to it, all I'm really looking for is someone that seems to stand out from the others. I think that is what most people tend to look for in both friendship and more, only, you would think it would be just that simple, when in reality there is probably about 1 in every 50 people you meet that may stand out. Then, you have to wonder whether that person thinks the same about you, and chances are, if you have about a 1 in 50 chance of finding that person that makes all the difference to you, you only have a 1 in 50 chance of making a difference to that person, therefore, if you take 1/50 and multiply that by 1/50, you would be left with a 1 in 2,500 chance that you and that other person would both stand out to each other. But, then you have to ask yourself, are you both compatible? Say that is another 1 in 50 chance, for every 50 people you both meet and you both are attracted to one another and both find each other's conversation intellectually stimulating, (so to say)...then only one out of those 50 couples are truly compatible. That would then give you approximately a 1 in 125,000 chance that you and that other person would find each other. So the point is, regardless of whether I knew what type of person I wanted to meet or not, I suppose the chances are pretty slim when it comes to meeting someone that gets along with me just as well as I get along with them...
