Southern Thunder

About Me

music layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments Southern Thunder has been around for while but we stopped playing together a few years back. Now we are back again this time with a slightly different line up. Still doing our originals and adding some new stuff. Still true to our Southern (and proud of it )roots. We want show a lot of hype saying we are the best band out there, because that is your choice and you have to decide that one. Sure in the past we were written by local papers where we were performing as being hard rocking Southern Boys but hey we just love music and entertaining you . So we put 110% into ever show. That is why we have so many who when they heard we were back the phone started ringing. They had heard us in the past and wanted to see for their self if we are as serious now as we were then. I hope we do not ever let them down. Come check us out. The band now has I feel some of the best musicians around. All having their special place in the band. Able to stand up there and rock with the best. With Southern Rock cover tunes to our own Southern Rock and Blues along with some upbeat country, there is plenty for all. There are even some old but great early rock covers done in the Southern Thunder style. We try and not copy but rather salute the artist who we cover. Of course there is Rod Stewart's famous quote from an early album "A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse."Also we are very happy for the band to be associated with the Southern Rock Alliance of which we are members visit their site and help support Southern Rock and Blues. For booking information just e-mai us from this site!!Southern Thunder will be playing at the Union County Fair this year.Tuesday Oct 14th 2008 Gates Open 6-11PM(1) $500 drawing.Advance pay one price (POP) ride tickets can be purchased through October 13th for $12 in advance or $15 at the fair and only good for Tuesday and Wednesday.Entertainment 8-10PM Main fair ground stage unless otherwise noted.9 AM Judging Home Economics & Agriculture Products 6:00 PM Beef ShowOn Stage 6:30 PM Little Miss Union County Fair Pageant 8 PM Southern Thunder You've been marked on my visitor map!
