Growing up in the Los Angeles suburbs, I heard many different kinds of popular music... but nothing quite moved me like Funk & Rap music did. The Riffs, The Grooves, The Rawness of Pure Good Funk music, and the messages and the inventiveness behind some of the best Rap / Hip Hop music.
