Kitorah a Barbadian singer/songwriter won the coveted 1998 Barbadian Teen Talent Award as Betty Griffith to launch her career. Her major experiences came at a popular resort hotel and as a nostalgic cabaret performer at the Plantation “Back-In-Time†Show.Kitorah recently penned the theme song, "Make Them All Believe In Me" for the Samsung "Marriage of Excellence" Concert Series Tour of China during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics Games. This was an effort put forth by the International Performing Arts for All (IPAFA) which re-establishment the bridge between the two Games known as the Arts Games. The four city tour which also featured Sheila E and her band Coed, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Oliver Jones, Taylor Dane, Tony Tobias and Chairman George was an astounding success for the young Barbadian artist who, along with IPAFA president Sylvia Sweeney, donated 35% of the proceeds of the song to the China earthquake victims and to the International Paralympic Association.Kitorah’s passion for music is evident in the variety of music formats in which she can perform but her career choices are Pop, Alternative and Contemporary music.She has completed her first solo album, “Love Like Mine†and the title trackas a first single, “Love Like Mine†was co-written with Kristina Unjhem, a Norwegian singer / songwriter and produced by Deekay Music / Pop City, “Hit†producers for the British boy group, BLUE, and was released in Europe in September 2006. This track delivers to the industry the same Caribbean Dancehall/Soca rhythmic style similar to some of the major players in the game. Her second release was "From This Day On" written and produced by Barbadian Tony Hoyos. The video for this song was shot on location in Barbados and can be seen all over the Caribbean.Kitorah also envisages a future career in acting with a promise assist in the development of younger artists along the way.Kitorah has toured Canada and also performed at the 2nd Barbados Music Awards 2007.
