I enjoy many things. Foremost amongst them are eating, drinking, writing and kicking ass. I just spent a lot of money I don't have on an advanced degree. I don't like debt but I'm in it. I'm interested in movies and plays. I am really interested in the League of Gentlemen. I am interested in my friends and their interests which run the gamut from theatre to boxing to cooking to cats. I'm interested in traveling and sitting in beer gardens and wine bars and dive bars and outdoor cafes. It's almost summer in my hemisphere right now and I ate a lot of artisanal cheese last night. That was definitely interesting.
The League of Gentlemen.
Anything and everything but especially Mike Patton. And Britney Spears and Cat Power. and right now Hall and Oates. My Morning Jacket. The Decembrists. Fergie. Oh and Beyonce. And the Dezurik Sisters, who yodel like birds. And I like that song about the Umbrella.
Good ones. You know, the kind they don't make anymore. Such as Pyscho, the Godfathers 1 and 2, Raging Bull, North by Northwest, ET, Dirty Dancing, Donnie Darko, Fargo, both Pee Wee's, many Tim Burtons, Do the Right Thing, Schindler's List, Citizen Kane, Eternal Sunshine..., Sunset Boulevard...I could go on.
Did I mention that I love the League of Gentlemen? And I'm into Lost now. And I do enjoy the occasional Nanny reality show. And all those HBO shows. And Rescue Me. And Sex and the City reruns.
Currently reading so many plays and things by folks like Brecht, Freud, Seneca, Ibsen. Murakami, DuMaurier, Liebling, Bourdain amongst others. Also a lot of self help like The Secret, If Life is a Game, These are the Rules; The Pathway.
