About Me

Eighteen year old Tony Bignell is a talented actor and singer. At the age of 12 he won a Full Time Scholarship to the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School. This kick started his acting career and since then he has appeared in several TV programmes such as THE BILL, MY FAMILY, STUPID, DOCTORS, CASUALTY and he was Frank Skinner's son in the sitcom SHANE. Tony also appeared in a one-off ITV1 comedy called "You Can Choose Your Friends", written by Richard Herring. Tony recorded a pilot for BBC3 called "Coming Of Age", since then it has been commisioned a series which starts on Tuesday 30th September 2008 at 10.30pm. Make sure you watch it, Tony has a main part!This site however is to show you his singing. He has been singing since he was about 6 and the style he currently sings is Swing/Jazz and Rock. His main inspirations are Jamie Cullum and Bryan Adams other inspirations are The Killers, Rod Stewart, Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) and Matt Bellamy (Muse). Tony sings in local pubs in Luton, and private functions! He is also in a band! Sounds Like: Tony has a unique sound, he trys to be original rather than impersonating anyone, but people have said he sounds similar to Harry Connick Jr. When he is singing rock he is said to sound like Bryan Adams.
