I have been writing music since age 10, at first, only on piano. At age 14, while working at Lady Baltimore Cafe in Novato, CA., I was singing while washing dishes. A little girl heard me and told me I had a pretty voice. This moment encouraged me to start adding vocals to my music, and I made friends with different musicians who came into the cafe.At age 15, I began playing open mikes at Cafe Amsterdam in Fairfax, CA, and had shows at Cafe Kaldi, Book Beat, and The Broken Drum in San Rafael. When I graduated high school, I moved to New York City and pursue my music career at age 17. I played mainly open mikes at Cafe Vivaldi, and I had a show at the Orange Bear. Though my music remained my passion, at age 19 my focus shifted to humanitarian projects, and I played shows less frequently. However, I like to perform whenever I find the time.My songs are inspired by love, heartache, and longing. Music is the outlet of my soul. Songs are the poetry of my deepest feelings.
