I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Sam. I have never eaten Green Eggs and Ham - and I've heard all the other ones, too. I grew up in a town called Anacortes on an island in Northwest Washington. It is probably my favorite place in the world.Since graduating high school in 2005 I have been in and out of schools, jobs, and dreams. I wrench on other people's cars for fun and enjoy being outdoors in every season and any type of weather. If I have any time left over, I take pictures of landscapes, friends, random objects, and cars. Favorite Quotes:
"I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own. I resign. I am not a number. I am a free man.""I think progress is the biggest enemy on earth, apart from oneself… I think we're gonna take good care of this planet shortly… there's never been a weapon created yet on the face of the Earth that hadn't been used……We're run by the Pentagon, we're run by Madison Avenue, we're run by television, and as long as we accept those things and don't revolt we'll have to go along with the stream to the eventual avalanche… As long as we go out and buy stuff, we're at their mercy. We're at the mercy of the advertiser and of course there are certain things that we need, but a lot of the stuff that is bought is not needed……We all live in a little Village… Your village may be different from other people's villages but we are all Prisoners."

Patrick McGoohan

"They told me, we want you to wear these baggy pants because the young kids like it and it's all glittery and polished and everything, and I said, "Fuck no, I'm not wearin' this gay-ass shit," and they said, "Well here's a million dollars, man, will you do it?" And I said, "Fuck yes." And anybody would have done the same thing if they were given the same chance. I'd lick my mother's asshole for a million dollars."

Vanilla Ice

"This is not a black and white world.
To be alive I say the colors must swirl.
And I believe that maybe today
we will all get to appreciate
the beauty of gray."

From the 1998 Mt. Baker Passholder's Poster

"The old-timer who was running the theater had been a vaudeville performer, and he gave me the advice that would see me through a lot of the ups and downs of show business. I still think about that advice almost fifty years later:
1. Always entertain the people who show up, and feel sorry for the people who don't.
2. You are going to work all your life to become an overnight success.
3. Never stop working at it."

Warren Miller
