Invisible Children (IC) is a non-profit organization based out of San Diego, CA. They work to transform apathy into activism and use the power of stories to change lives around the world.
Their work extends beyond our borders by focusing on long-term development and working directly with individuals and institutions in war affected regions that are eager to realize their full potential.
As an Austin chapter we work with others throughout the city to raise awareness of the situation in numerous war-torn countries in the world.
We host fundraisers such as benefit concerts and garage sales in order to send money to the areas affected by the wrath of war.
Meetings:
