Seventh Sorrow was started with the idea of creating our own mainstream sound that is unique and different, with alot of diversity. With many changes to our sound and lineup, we are well on our way to accomplishing that very goal.Seventh Sorrow was founded in Northern,Mi with originally 4 members. Frankie at lead vocal, Danny V on lead guitar, Shawn Ready on rythym guitar, and Pat Paolino on drums. About 2 months later, Pat had ran into a long time friend and fellow musician Dave VanDenHoek at a local open mic jam. He had invited Dave to come and listen to us at practice, and Dave became the bass player for Seventh Sorrow that very night.A few months later, due to personal reasons, Shawn Ready left Seventh Sorrow. We felt that we could carry on without a second guitar player. This was right after our first session recording our first demo in the studio. We made some minor arrangement changes in the music that we had already written, and proceeded to play more shows and write more music. A few months later, we decided to let Pat Paolino go and persue other areas of his life, as well as recruit a new drummer with more experience and dedication. We auditioned many other drummers, and decided to hire on Jesse Peppas as our new percussionist. In about a month, with alot of hard work and time put into having Jesse learn our old material, make changes, hear his ideas and such, we played our first show with Jesse. Our fans were amazed with how our sound was progressing and couldn't get enough. We immediatley started to compose new material with Jesse, which is what you hear of Seventh Sorrow today. We then recorded a new demo and took our new sound to the next level when we handed a cd into Modern Rock The Zone which is being played on the radio. Soon after the radio play began, Dave Vandenhoek descided that he couldn't hack the band life anymore and left Seventh Sorrow for personal reasons. We then quickly held auditions for a new bass guitarist and aquired Abram Bartlett to finish out the new rythm section.----------------------------------------------------
