Relive the trashy rock ’n roll sounds of the fifties and sixties enjoying a thrilling act from the un-dead nozems from the swamps of the Netherlands: Franky Vampire and his virgin shooters.These, at first sight, decent looking gents and lady produce soulful Rock ‘n Roll tunes drenched in filth. It’s the great sound you used to hear in the analogue era, with many tiny studios recording on tape. Born from this great interest in old vinyl records these friends decided to form the band in 2002 for the purpose of making love with their instruments. By the time they completed a repertoire of their ol’ time favourites, they decided to add some more traditional instruments. They soon found the freaky pianoman “de Das” and from the day “the Howlin’ Hornets” entered the graveyard, they’re here to shake your bones!
Since the beginning of the year 2007 the awesome pianoman "de Das" left our band, so these days there's no more the sound of the freaky pianoA-live, Franky Vampire and his virgin shooters create a pleasant ambiance with a funny appearance. With songs like “Ghost Rock ‘n Roll”, “Werewolf” and “Big Fat Mama” the vinyl freaks among us will recognize the amazing songs re-released by labels like Crypt. The stompin’ sound turns every venue into an early fifties nightclub with visitors dancing the twist and snapping their fingers. Sometimes the beautiful go-go dancers of the Lucy Dee’s Angels join the stage, then men start to scream like little girls and women start dancing like maniacs to impress their men even more!The horrifying lover who died, yet lived… is about to taste your neck. Don’t dare see them alone… Moewahahaaah!
