About Me

This isn't anything Honeybus-official... in fact, this page was made by a little girl called me .
I noticed there wasn't anything on this site dedicated to one of my favourite bands ever... so I decided to fix that myself... I hope you like! : D
Honeybus are best remembered for "I Can't Let Maggie Go", their 1968 hit single which was used in the Nimble bread TV adverts of the mid-70's. However, this is just one chapter in the story of this exceptionally talented and criminally overlooked group.
Their career stretched back to the beat group heyday of the early 60's, and they survuved a major line-up change just as "Maggie" was riding the top ten and went on to create one of the greatest pop albums of all time before re-uniting for some magical solo projects in the early 70's.
30 years later, their rich and timeless musical legacy is still finding new listeners as their reputation grows to almost legendary proportions.
