Securing their lineup in 2008, Dondrea Erauw (vocals), Thomas Brow (guitar), Mike Mitchell (drums) and Mike Wilson (bass) are Distance Between Stars, out of Hamilton, Ontario.
Right in the middle of the exploding 905 Music Scene, Distance Between Stars is a breath of fresh air. Bucking the trends of teen angst and hardcore and drawing inspiration from the older days of local punk rock and pop punk, DBS are quickly turning heads with their high energy live show and catchy songs.
The quartet have recently finished recording an EP with producer Jonathon "Ronson" Armstrong (Bassist of The Reason) to be released in late 2008/early 2009.
To date, DBS have shared the stage with Lights, Bayside, Ill Scarlett, Hostage Life, The Reason, The Junction, Arise and Ruin, The Salads, Sydney, and many others, and have been featured in Hamilton's VIEW Magazine for the week of Novemer 20-26, 2008.
If 2008 has been any indication of what's to come for DBS, 2009 will see the quartet hit the ground running and embarking on their first tours for the forthcoming EP
DBS have also won awards on garageband.com, including Track Of The Day for June 30, 2007, and Best Female Vocals in Pop Punk for the week of July 2nd, 2007.
