I was the first Black world heavyweight boxing champion. I was born in Galveston, Texas in 1878. Despite the hardship endured due to my colour i managed to make a name for myself fighting all over America as well as Australia and England to. Most of the Champions at the time were to yeller to take me on. Finally in 1909 Tommy Burns gave me a shot at the title and i don't mind telling you i pounded that son of a bitch. There was of course a downfall as i liked Women and money to much and now i live in Blackheath posing as a white middle class student in Greenwhich.
