SUCKS TO YOUR ASMAR!

About Me

I'm a Swiss miss born in the wrong era. I think I might be borderline eccentric as well, but I figure that's what gives me character :-) I like to indulge in painting parties where I create abstract art inspired by the inner-working of the mind. I strive to achieve a sense of self through my craft. really. no, really.. This profile was made at Whateverlife.com! :)

My Interests

My right brain is highly-developed, but my left brain could use some improvement.

I'd like to meet:

Conservative businessmen with a sense of humor. No pervs. haha. I also would also like to meet numismatists, biologists, physicists, travelings bards/troubadors, rail riders, and historical event reenactors.

Music:

Anything folky with quirky lyrics and violins, though I do feel that I can identify and appreciate superior tunes of all genres.

Movies:

Amelie, Grease, The Royal Tennenbaums, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Clerks, Dogma, Pleasantville, Sybil

Television:

Full House, News 12 New Jersey "As Local As Local News Gets!", Curb Your Enthusiasm, Gilmore Girls, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Forensic Files (ALL crime shows-- Cold Case Files, Body of Evidence, The First 48...), I also watch a lot of PBS even though its run by a bunch of bleeding hearts.

Books:

The Sweet Valley Series, Rotten Ralph, Will Storr vs. the Supernatural, All Betty Smith novels- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Joy in the Morning, Tomorrow will be Better... I really do love to read, however I find that good books are few and far between.

Heroes:

Uncle Jesse because he can rock the mullet and still be sexual as hell, yo. Also, Dayle Hinman because being a criminal profiler exudes so much class I can't even take it. Gregor Mendel, the father of genetics and R.C. Punnet because, hell, what would I do without those fun little squares to determine dominant and recessive gene ratios??? Serioussssssssssssss???..

My Blog

I had the strangest dream last night.  I rarely ever remember my dreams so the fact that I can recall almost every detail of this one is quite bizarre, indeed. You know in dreams how sometimes yo...

Another day, another dollar, punching the clock, getting it stuck to you by the man, no words could convey with complete accuracy the way Cathy felt today.  The tedium, the banality, the mundane ...

I just recently remembered a time when I had composed a great tale of a girl who collected broken, empty cans of cat food.  If my memory serves me correctly, that story should be available online...
