"Band Bio"... hmmm... I don't so much have a band, and my biography is kind of boring, so I think I'll just make a load of random stuff up, if that's ok with you.Ok then. Um, I was raised on a farm by a one eyed Llama and a woman called Geoff. It was in those early years that the concept of music was introduced to me, in the form of Paul McCartney songs and the Linda McCartney classic "The Oriental Nightfish" (which by the way, is actually something she wrote, not a creation of this random bio). After years of therapy I finally found that music could actually be used as a force for good, unlike the damning cacophony mentioned above.
Having been trained on the two-handed guitar and piano, I escaped the farm and headed South (apparently) and found myself in England. So I said hello to myself, went on my way, and have since lost myself. Such a tragic life...
Ok, I'm bored with that now. The truth is I'm a happy chappy, married to a wonderful lady and live in Malvern. Aston Villa fanatic, admirer of food, lover of the creative arts, blah, blah, blah. Chances are, if you're reading this you know me anyway, so this has all been a bit pointless! Ah well, have a nice day! (and sorry for the worryingly random section that started this strange "band bio")
You can buy a copies of the albums Closer (2002) for £10 + P&P and Embrace This Mystery (2007) for £12 + P&P by clicking the respective "buy now" buttons.
Anyway, hope you like the couple of tracks I've put up, there are a few more to come.
Lew.
Personal Stuff!
I'm into most types of music, as long as it's good. I prefer music that can be played live - there's nowt like a live gig.
I like too many films to mention here. My favourite filum is probably Amadeus - but then I really like Mozart, so I'm a bit biased. Film is good anyway.
I love drama, and certain plays (such as Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo - genius!)
Got to love the League of Gentlemen - and I'm well into "My Name is Earl"!! There's not that much great stuff on tele at the minute. Shame!
I'm also reading quite a lot of theology and philosophy. Ok I'm really bored talking about me. It's not exactly riveting stuff... Theology graduate who likes drama, music and philosophy... Mmmhmmm....
I have a wonderful family, the most beautiful and amazing wife, some fabulous friends and I am so grateful for them all. (I'd like to thank the academy...)
Seriously though, I know that I am fortunate - and I'm thankful!
