About Me

This question makes me feel like I'm writing a personals ad. Am I writing a personals ad??? All my friends seem to be doing it, it must be ok. :)Hi! I'm Jenn... I'm a scientist. (that means, I'm a big nerd, but like to think you'd never be able to tell.) When I'm not exploding things at work, or curing cancer, you can find me at the local bowling alley, pool hall, or fine drinking establishment. Sometimes, I am at home, or at the gym, but I'm never very happy when I'm there. Don't get me wrong, I love my sleep, and hanging out with my dog (Rusty!), but it turns out I'm a pretty social little butterfly. I manage to keep myself quite busy. One way to stay busy, is to snowboard, a lot. In the winter, October through July, you can find me at Mammoth mountain quite regularly on weekends. That is, unless I'm off on another great adventure. I like to use my vacation days before I earn them, but it seems like I've only seen a small portion of the world... I certainly wouldn't mind exploring the rest of it...This profile was edited with MySpace Help - Profile Creator and Editor MySpace Profile Help!

My Interests

Snowboarding, wine, rock climbing, tequila, punk shows, rum, hanging out with friends, drinking, bowling...

I'd like to meet:

More Heroes.

Music:

Pretty much, I just listen to punk rock.... I have a soft spot for Jazz/Latin, maybe a little funk or reggae on a good day, but mostly punk.

Movies:

Who has time for movies??? Once I find a free minute, I might go to movie that makes you go Hmmm? Or a Heist movie. I like movies where stuff gets stolen by smart people who may, or may not, end up exploding something. Movies like Lock Stock, Boondock Saints, or the Transporter... yea, and I suppose Ocean's Eleven fits in there too... But for something completely different... and if you know me, you'll know this... I make everyone play the "Dazed and Confused Drinking game," one of the few movies I could watch over and over and over... Hilarious! The best one-liners, ever!

Television:

Who has time for TV??? I do manage to fit in a few Law and Order episodes a week... and maybe some Simpsons. Those silly HBO shows too... man, they're addicting.

Books:

Who has time for books? Ok, well I do. Books usually fill the, "just one more glass of wine before bed" time at the end of the day. I've been reading a lot of Mr. Palahniuk lately... I tend to pick an author, and exhaust them. (Vonnegut, Kesey, Rand, etc..) Oof, remind me not to pick another Tolstoy though... that was a rough year!

Heroes:

I like smart people. I like smart people with opinions and ideas... It really doesn't matter if you're famous, but if you're doing something cool, you're my hero. I think a good number of my friends fall into that category. I like to keep my heroes close to home. :)
