I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am the singer/guitarist/songwriter for melodic hard rock band Fastest Turbo Fire Engine and Gravity Drop. Please check out the FTFE myspace page . Our new album "Focus" is out! We will been hitting the road across the country and are taking a break to do some more recording. Ever since I could remember, I've loved everything about music. I've always been fascinated by the making and performing of music. I've thought about nothing else but being a musician since I was a young child. My father raised me on Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Isaac Hayes, and The Charlie Daniels Band. The perfectly crafted song can make someone laugh, cry, or riot. Millions of people sleepily eek by an existance that doesn't even come close to fulfilling their grand design. Life passes them by, they get old, and feel they have wasted their lives. Ahhh, the American Dream! If I can help somebody realize that there's so much more to life, I feel like I've accomplished something. To me, a good song is a good song. If it affects me somehow, if it moves me, it's a good song. To put limitations on music, like 4/4 time is boring, there's not enough screaming, etc. seems silly to me. Doug Pinnick of King's X says it best- stop trying to dissect it, and let it be good to you. The second I put limitations on what good music can or cannot be, I immediately close myself off from the possiblility of running into a song that will change my life. Music is a gift, possibly one of the greatest. We're in unique times. I feel that if we keep giving away our lives to those that desire power over them, we're done as a species. We'll be made slaves to a system we can't escape. Now is the time to take ownership of your life. There's never been a better time, and the era we're in demands it.

This may get complicated...

It is human to fall into a rut. To live in a rut is to be castrated, to have our manhood stripped from us. Only in being wild, to really live out our purpose, can we dwell in our manhood. We can regai...

Where's the passion?

It amazes me how strong our outer-selves are. I mean, there's a constant internal struggle in most people. We can feel inside of ourselves the desire to be something more than we are. We see someone t...
