Psalm 34:1While you may have heard a lot of Gospel Music before, Kevin's style and technique is embedded in a special anointing. He is a living testament of his music. He loves God, and gives all Glory to him for allowing the promise to come to fruition.As a young man growing up in Vernon, Florida, Kevin is the first born of two other siblings. Music and attending church was the highlight of his upbringing. While living in Florida he sang in his hometown church choir, ministered in the West Florida Recording Choir, and The Gulf Coast Community Choir under the direction of Michael Grady. While in the GCCC he was offered the opportunity to tour to New York, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and many other cities.He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1994 and joined the Powerhouse of Deliverance COGIC, and while there he served in the Voices of Power. VOP allowed him the privilege of performing at the Gospel Music Workshop of America singing duet with Pastor Murphy J. Pace, on the title cut "Didn't I Tell Ya". He also sang back-up in the mass choir for La Shun Pace's CD recording "A Wealthy Place".Kevin has been given a taste of Musical Comedy plays. He sang backup in the musical play "Fix Me Jesus" staring Dottie Peoples, ,James Bignon, and Rev. Dreyfus Smith. He acted and sang in the comedy play “The Pastor’s Appreciation”.Kevin has ministered on stage with many Gospel greats such as Byron Cage, Dorothy Norwood, William Becton, The Righteous Riders, Shirley Caesar, Isaac Carree, Michael Bolton, and The Bobby Jones Gospel Show.Kevin was also given the opportunity to record with the Legendary Dorothy Norwood in Live at Home in 2001.In 2001 Kevin released his first musical composition “Lord You Kept Your Promise”, and in 2006 he released his 2nd project “The Favor Of God”. He sang back-up on Bishop Eddie Longs 2nd Total Praise release “It’s A New Beginning”. As a member of New Birth’s NuPraz Choir, he was allotted the opportunity to back-up Michael Bolton at the Grammy Heroes Awards.Kevin also sang back-up on “The Fighting Temptations” musical soundtrack “Rain Down” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce’ Knowles.Kevin was the recipient of the 2007 Best Vocalist Award for the Eagle Awards in Atlanta.Kevin was given the opportunity in 2008 to be an extra in Tyler Perry’s movie “Madea Goes To Jail” in the Wedding & Courthouse scenes. Starring Tyler Perry, Derek Luke, and Ronreaco Lee.In 2001 & 2004 Kevin embarked upon another facet of ministry that is very dear to him. He traveled to the country of Jamaica with Word Alive, founded by Rev. DR. Jacqueline E. McCullough to touch the people of Jamaica with food, Medical Care, and Spiritual Empowerment.Presently, He is a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where Bishop Eddie L.
