About Me

Rather than a short biography I have decided to write some facts about Chihiro so here they are in no particular order:

Chihiro were formed in 2005.Chihiro love each other very very much.Chihiro make folky indie pop music.Chihiro's second gig was supporting The Kooks and The Subways as part of a prize for winning the uni radio station's unsigned competition.Chihiro went to the University of East Anglia together.Various members of Chihiro are involved in other exciting musical projects including bands like The Burfield 45s and The Whole Shabang , electro-pop outfit The Nice Juice Team and a monthly live music night called Lowkey at The Chapel Bar in Islington.Chihiro is 60% male and 40% female.Chihiro bass player, Pete Sorel-Cameron is the 20,489th most famous person to have come from Stratford upon Avon. The 1st most famous is Dr. William Shakespeare!!!Chihiro cellist, Rachel Allen is from Canterbury but was not featured in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.Chihiro would like you to listen to their music and come to their gigs and write them emails and myspace comments and messages.Chihiro can be emailed at [email protected]
Also, if you've got a couple of minutes, please check out this lovely animation short by the beautiful and talented Anne Wilkins which features music written and recorded by Dayo and Billy. It is really rather beautiful but it made my mum cry, so be warned!!!
