About Me

In a former life, The Middle East existed as the local bedroom 4-track pioneer "San Simian." Releasing several limited-run recordings under this name including the DAM(N) ELECTRIC CD available only thru MP3.com. This work was favourably compared to: Neil Young, Galaxie 500 by listen.com.His Work in other bands includes: Fathom Five (1995-2000) - playing several shows across Ontario The Late Great (2004-2005) - playing various Toronto venues including the 360, the Reverb, Clintons, & El Mocambo. Currently Untitled (2006-Present) - played one show under the name "The Voice Of Steven Hawking"In the fall of 2005 THE MIDDLE EAST ... AT LEAST... EP released on Dead Hat Man Records. Currently working on a follow-up EP.
