So, about me. I was born in Florida, I lived there until I was 8yrs old. Then moved to Newbern, NC and lived there until I was 11 or 12. Then we moved to Wilmington, NC and we lived there for a year or two. After that we moved to Chattanooga, TN and I have lived here ever since. I went to Soddy Daisy High School and my first two years were awful. My Junior year I met Susan, my best friend. We were always together. After we graduated I started to date Susan's brother Matt. Matt and I got married in 2002. I am so blessed to be married to my best friend's brother. Ha ha Susan you can never get away from me now.I love music and I have my Dad to thank for that. My Dad has great taste in music. Me and my Dad would listen to tapes all the time together. I think the first tape I listened to was Michael Jackson. On Sundays we would go for drives and he always had the radio playing. I remember Phil Collins playing on the radio a lot when we went for our drives. My Dad was in a band and he played the drums, which he is very good at. When I got older we would stay up late on Friday nights and watch music videos when VH1 was cool.I also love to dance which I also got from my Dad. Sorry Mom. I have taken Swing dance lessons and my brother and I danced at one of the Bridal shows at the Chattanooga Trade Center. I love dancing with my brother. We dance really well together.I was born in 1979 and my brother was born in 1980. So being so close in age we were really close. We played Barbie and He-man. He watched all of my sappy girl movies with me. Thanks Richie! He now lives in Los Angeles and he helps run a company called Motion Picture F/X. They supply make-up and other supplies to people that make movies.My sister Kim was born in 1983. I have to admit that I did pick on Kim a lot when she was younger. Sorry Kim. Kim and I are really good friends now though. Her and her husband Michael just moved to L.A. to work for my brother. Michael enjoys photography and he is really good at it. I am glad my sister found such a wonderful husband! Love ya Michael. I really miss having them around.I enjoy going to the Y and taking classes. Right now I have been taking yoga classes and I really enjoy it. I have been thinking about trying out the aerobics classes. I also like riding my bike at the River Park. No hard core biking though. Sorry Matt. I have run a 5K and done the Susan Komen Race for the Cure.I teach a 4-5yr old Sunday School class at my church. I really enjoy doing that. On Wed. nights I teach a class at church called cubbies and they are age 3. Basically we do crafts and teach bible stories and teach them bible verses. I love my church, and I thank God all the time for the privelage it is to serve him. If it were not for Susan's family I may not have ever come to know Jesus.I have wonderful in-laws. I could not ask for better ones. Sheila and I are like best friends. We do a lot together. I don't know what I would do without her.I have a wonderful husband. He is a cost accountant. He is a handy man and can build anything. I am not kidding he can build anything. He works on cars, which is awesome. He makes our yard look really nice. Sorry Matt I hate digging in the dirt. I just like to look at the prettiness after you are done working in the yard. Matt loves shooting guns at the range. He likes reloading his own bullets and taking apart the guns and putting them back together. Matter of fact he likes to take a lot of stuff apart and put it back together. He loves to work out and is really an athelete. He has been in tons of races, running and biking. He is also a computer genius. He also likes all of my decorating that I do to the house and he doesn't mind to sleep on sheets that are pink with flowers. Thanks Matt, I have your Mom to thank for that. He loves working on our house. He is a history buff and he knows a lot of stuff on a lot of subjects. He read all of the encyclopedias from A-Z except for F, because Susan just so happened to vomit on that one. Ha. Any how Matt is just a really well rounded person and has a great sense of humor. Weird but great. Ha.My Mom and my step-dad live here in Chattanooga as well. I love my Mom. We do lots of fun things together. She gives me pedicures and has been dying my hair since I don't know when. We bake cookies and all sorts of goodies together. She just recently stopped making us Easter baskets. Sometimes we just like to hang out and sit on her deck and watch the birds. We worked together at Champion Cleaners. Champion Cleaners was my first job. Then we worked together for 5 yrs at Cigna Healthcare. We got to carpool together after I had a bad wreck and totalled my car my Mom changed her schedule to mine so we could ride together. We got to eat lunch together every day. It was really fun.My best friend Susan now lives in Nashville with her husband Ian and her 5mth old baby girl Olivia Sophia. Susan also found her a great husband. Love ya Ian. I try not to spoil my Livia to much. Susan and Olivia just recently were in Chattanooga for a week and I got to hang out with them. It was nice. Sue and I did a lot of girly stuff that we used to do back in high school. We colored our hair, face masked it, did make-up. Susan gives great make-up tips by the way. I miss Susan not being here in Chatt, but at least she is only 2hrs away. I can't wait to have my own baby girl so Olivia and her can be best friends.Matt and I have a couple that we hang out with a lot. Graham and Virginia. We go to the gym together. Va and I go to yoga while Graham and Matt lift weights. We hang out on Friday nights and Matt and Graham love to make hot wings in the deep fryer. Va and I have the same movie tastes. Right now we are watching one of my favorite series that just came out on DVD, American Dreams.I love vintage clothing. 50's style I love! I love to go into the store Va VA Vintage. I have bought several pieces of clothing from there. I love to decorate my house. My house looks like a little cottage. I love to read when I have time. I like to sit on my deck and just take in nature. I have recently started to like cooking. I love to shop for clothes, make-up, shoes, bargins, thrift stores, yard sales. I love to go to the vegetable stands on the side of the road. I like the mountains and staying in Gatlinburg. I also love the beach. I would love to have a beach house some day. I have been to New York, Vancouver Canada, Seattle, Los Angeles, Washington D.C.
I would love to go to Prince Edward Island. One of my favorite movie series was filmed there. Anne of Green Gables. I don't enjoy flying. Oh, and I have been to St. Louis to a Joyce Meyer Women's conference which was so awesome. It was just me and my girlfriend Christie and we had a blast! She gets me through flying by her laugh. When she got nervous on the flight she would start laughing and snorting. You gotta love her!All in all I have a pretty good life! Life is good.
