55DSL resident DJ and obsessive collector of Funk, Soul and Hip Hop records and more generally anything that has "the groove!".Influences gained from a broad mix of genres including Jazz, Disco, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Reggae and Dubstep.Nickname's London debut was at Shoreditch's infamous Pool bar (RIP) where he could be found rocking a monthly gig full of the East London party massive. Since then he has spun turntables all over London. Notable gigs below.
