The Svens started out 2003 I think... We started out as a 4 piece playing Strokes and Ramones covers until we wrote a song called 'Sally' and after that we just kept dishin out song after song. Over a 5 year span of evolution as humans, song writers and their overall psyche The Svens have become the band everyone has grown to love and hate. Like a deprived child The Svens have overcome every obstacle that's been throw in their face. Frontman Johnny Dabu brings a lovesick charm and spits the necessary antidote off the tip of his tongue with frank lyrics which stimulate the bands captivating numbers. Adding animated drumming is Ben Dabu, not just a pretty face but his triboelectric beats break in your brand new pair of shoes while counter partner Michael Giuliani gathers all your favorite cartoon characters into your bedroom with a vivacious bassline.
