I'm currently an English professor at NYU, but don't let that fool you. I love horror films, finding new uses for body glitter, and showing off my army of killer bunnies named after Roman Emperors. I maintain a regular blog at Bunniblog where you can read posts on a variety of topics ranging from film reviews, like this review of Mainstream , my analytical musing on literature, like Peter Pan , or my adventures in foreign countries, like Paris.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who can put together a sentence that vaguely ressembles something that could be English. People who can have an invigorating conversation with others who have opposing views without degenerating into ad hominem attacks. People who know when they need to buckle down and do work, but also know when to put off reading that Proust biography in order to walk under the cherry blossoms in the park. Who aren't afraid to always try something new even if it is just a different type of tea. Who could travel to another country with only their passports and their wallets.
