I've been a shy geek most of my life, and have always had a few close friends but never too many more. I guess I'm a bit skeptical; this also explains the lack of a photo, because I don't want everyone have access to my pics. (Of course, if you want me to send you a picture of myself, feel free to ask; if you're not a creep, you'll probably get one.) I come out of my shell a bit online, and also as I get to know someone better and become more comfortable with him or her. I've never really been attracted to the joys of drinking or clubs; I definitely prefer the company of a few people at someone's residence, where we can all talk or do something, usually not alcohol-related (board games, bad movies, and meaningful conversations are all cool). I guess you'd call it chill or straight-edge.
